![]() Could running them both side by side on different resolutions be the issue? ![]() ![]() I've upgraded from an old Acer P224W 1080p 60Hz TN panel from 2009 which is also currently running as a second monitor via DVI-D connection. The included documentation only mentions it as "G-sync compatible" but my Nvidia control panel shows no G-sync tab to enable or disable G-sync, so I assume they mean enabling Freesync/ELMB-Sync works the same? Sorry for noob questions, first monitor upgrade in a decade. If I switch to Windowed or Borderless windowed mode the monitor doesn't blackscreen whenever the active window is changed but the colors stay very washed out (seen here ) I moved my mouse from the current monitor to my second monitor to the left Heres an example of the display going wonky when your mouse leaves the monitor. ![]() My phones camera is pretty terrible but ill try to get some pictures. I most enjoy being able to multi-task and interact with others via multiple programs so not being able to quickly and cleanly move from one window to another is a deal breaker for me. It occurs in both exclusive full screen modes and windowed/borderless windowed modes. I've tried each displayport output on my GPU and I'm going to try a new displayport cable tomorrow but is this normal? It makes tabbing into and out of games REALLY awful. If HDR is enabled and I attempt to make a video game the active window, the monitor quickly displays a black screen, followed by a glitchy blotch of bright colors then back to black then reboots itself and it either Works while displaying super saturated colors *or* it works while displaying super washed out colors until I change the active window again. Sometimes it lasts until I change the active window, sometimes it persists through multiple active program changes. The actual issue: Enabling HDR via windows settings causes my mouse cursor to lag HARD, with severe trailing on the desktop while also becoming very dim. Did I even receive the correct monitor? I've posted what I think are relevant PC specs at the bottom. The box shipped has the device listed as "VG27A"(No Q) the monitors own on-screen display lists it as "ASUS TUF Gaming VG27A". I recently purchased the Asus TUF Gaming VG27AQ (or tried to - more on that in a moment) and have some questions about how it should be working.
